Next Gwinnett Right to Life 2017 Organizational Meeting
The Gwinnett Right to Life chapter of Georgia Right to Life is planning an organizational meeting on Sat., Feb 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
Please come to the meeting! We are currently making plans for 2017. We are seeking new officers, new board members (we do not yet have a board) and planning events.
Possible Events/Goals... We know we'd like to have a spring and fall meeting, have a booth at the 10-day Gwinnett County Fair in September, participate in 40 Days for Life and Life Chain, conduct a membership drive and fundraising activities, reach out to Gwinnett County churches, and support the Pregnancy Resource Center of Gwinnett. We need new chapter members and active volunteers to help us achieve these important goals.
From the Gwinnett RTL page on the GRTL website:
"Gwinnett Right To Life is a county chapter of Georgia Right To Life. We are a volunteer, grassroots organization composed of people of diverse religious, social and ethnic backgrounds. We come together to work to restore the legal protection of the right to life of the unborn, medically fragile and the elderly.
Diverse though we are, we hold one common belief: That every human being is made in the image of God and has an inalienable right to life; a right that is precious and foundational to all other rights, and must be protected. The goal of the Gwinnett Chapter of Georgia Right To Life is to become a vital and active presence in the County that works to motivate, focus and educate people on right to life issues.
Please join us in serving at Gwinnett Right To Life, a vehicle for change -- one that we pray the Lord will use in 2017 to change hearts and minds, save lives, and impact legislation."
Please feel free to call me in the evening or Saturday to discuss how you can get involved in fighting abortion and advancing personhood in Gwinnett County.

Gwinnett Right to Life Jewelry Fundraiser – Oct. 31, 2015
On Saturday Oct. 31 Gwinnett Right to Life will host a jewelry party fundraiser to raise money for the chapter. Tammy Agee, an independent distributor of Premier Designs Jewelry, has offered to donate 25 percent of all of the profits from the jewelry party to Gwinnett Right to Life.
Our chapter is raising funds to support outreach in the county such as distributing literature to educate voters prior to the upcoming presidential primaries or by hosting a booth at the Gwinnett County Fair as we did this past September. Your support via this fundraiser will help us raise the funds we need to be at the fair again next year handing out pro-life literature and talking to thousands of people about life issues.
Premier Designs is a Christian company that promotes fair and ethical business practices. Their products are beautiful, well made and reasonably priced. Premier Designs and Gwinnett Right to Life are perfectly matched – their philosophy statement starts out with a solidly pro-life message. It says, “We believe God created every person with value.” That is the essential truth we hope to communicate to the citizens of Gwinnett County – that every life is valuable and deserving of protection at every stage, from earliest biological beginnings to natural death.
Many women are not prepared to handle an unplanned pregnancy; we try to educate them so they will choose to keep their child rather than abort. We know many are grieving about past abortions as statistics tell us that one in four American women have had an abortion. We try to reach out to post abortive women to share the good news of forgiveness in Christ.
So, if you live in or near Gwinnett County – please attend the fundraiser. If you don’t live nearby, you can still support Gwinnett RTL by going to the website at tammyagee.mypremierdesigns.com and then contact us to place an order at 770.880.3405 or email@example.com to place an order.

GRTL Pillars of Personhood – UGA Athens, GA – Nov. 7 & 9, 2015
Georgia Right to Life will host an interactive pro-life training at UGA on Nov 7 & 9 open to anyone living within reasonable driving distance of Athens. It‘s called Pillars of Personhood and it provides answers to many seemingly simple - yet often hard to defend - questions such as “When does life begin?” and “Why is it wrong to kill babies who are conceived through rape or incest?”
Did you know that Personhood is the human rights battleground of the 21st Century? The personhood of the unborn was the pivotal point in the Supreme Court arguments regarding the Roe v. Wade case. Attend this Pillars of Personhood training to learn more about how you can work alongside Georgia Right to Life in securing effective legal protection for all human life, from its earliest biological beginnings to natural death.
The pro-life seminar Pillars of Personhood examines the issue of human personhood in the 21st century from philosophical, theological, ethical and spiritual perspectives. The pro-life training will be at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens on November 7th from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Lunch is provided.
Participants have even more fun on the Monday following the training when they put what they’ve learned into practice on the UGA campus Plaza talking one on one with students. For more information, email PersonhoodSeminar@grtl.org or call the Georgia Right to Life office at (770) 339-6880. More information is also available on Facebook.
Join Gwinnett Right to Life
at the 2015 Gwinnett County Fair
September 17 to 27, 2015
If you have been looking for an opportunity to get involved at a local pro-life event, here is your opportunity. You can help us reach thousands for life, at the 2015 Gwinnett County Fair!
Our goal at the fair is to change attitudes, thoughts and actions about right to life issues - especially abortion. We hope and pray the Lord will bless our work and use us to save lives through education. Please join us!
We are now making plans for this year's event and are in need of volunteers for the dozens of shifts that comprise the open hours at the fair. There will be a total of 41 3-hour shifts to fill over 11 days. The shifts are as follows:
More than 250,000 people attended the fair in 2014. There will be unparalleled opportunity at the Fair to educate people and provide the critical anti-abortion and sanctity of life facts northeast Georgians need, information that could literally...
Save Lives. Do you think abortion clinic workers actually explain to young mothers that the price they pay for sexual freedom, independence and "control over their own bodies" is the death of their child? Hardly. Abortion clinics like Planned Parenthood are self-admittedly selling baby body parts, referring to the precious hearts and lungs of babies in the womb as "uterine contents".
Impact Legislation. Without an informed public there is no shift in public opinion, therefore no legitimate pro-life legislation.
Promote Personhood. The goal of Georgia Right to Life is full legal protection for all innocent human life from creation to natural death. This is known as 'Personhood', and it advocates for the protection of babies in the womb, people with disabilities, and the elderly -- everyone who is frail and vulnerable in today's materialistic society.
In order to provide educational resources for fair attendees, Gwinnett Right to Life will distribute brochures at the fair that will address such subjects as:
- When does Personhood start - at the embryonic level, or at some later point of development?
- Should it be legal to kill a person based on their circumstances of conception?
- Are crimes against Personhood at the center of the human rights battleground in the 21st Century?
- In what ways is abortion a form of eugenics, or genocide?
- Is involuntary euthanasia practiced in our country today?
How can you support Gwinnett Right to Life at the Gwinnett County Fair?
- Donate Time: Sign up to be a volunteer at the Gwinnett Fair Booth by calling 770.880.3405 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
- Donate Money: We are seeking donations for the cost of literature to distributed at the Fair.

40 Days For Life Kick Off Rally — Lawrenceville, Georgia
We had a wonderful time at the Kick Off Rally for the 40 Days For Life Fall 2011 Campaign in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Meeting in front of the Planned Parenthood abortuary on Lawrenceville Suwanee Road on the evening before the official 40 Days start date of September 28, more than 100 people were encouraged by a heartwarming and motivating speech by keynote speaker, Ricardo Davis, from Georgia Right To Life.
Using the Scripture text Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you — But to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”, Ricardo exhorted the 40 Days crowd to humbly prepare for vigil duty; have a merciful and empathetic attitude; and trust that God will apply perfect justice on behalf of the 50 million unborn American babies.
The 40 Days For Life Fall 2011 Campaign in Lawrenceville will run from September 28 to October 6, 2011. The 40 Days For Life campaign in Lawrenceville plans to fill the vigil calendar for 12 hours per day — for 40 straight days. There are still many vigil time slots that need to be filled. Please visit the website at http://www.40daysforlife.com/lawrenceville/ or contact Mary Hayes at 770.853.1756 to sign up.
