GRTL and Together for Life 2012

Together for Life 2012 will commemorate the more than 53 million lives lost to abortion since 1973.  It will also be a call to a renewed commitment to protect the sanctity of all life - from conception to natural death.

The program will begin on Monday morning, January 23, 2012, at 11:30 am with music, prayer, and our keynote speaker, Dr. Freda Bush.  Held on the steps of the State Capitol in Atlanta, the program will wrap up with a one mile silent memorial walk at 1p m through the streets of Atlanta.  Together for Life gives Georgia citizens the opportunity gather in memory of the 39th anniversary of Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Freda Bush, OB/GYN, is a popular speaker nationwide.  She has been an outspoken advocate of Mississippi's Personhood Amendment: Yes on 26 and is featured in promotional videos.  Dr. Bush has published articles in various journals and co-authored the book, HOOKED:  New Science on How Casual Sex is Affecting Our Children.

A welcome guest on television and radio programs, Dr. Bush has been featured on Fox News, the CBS Early  Show, Focus on the Family and Janet Parshal's America among others.  As a physician, mother, speaker and author, Dr. Bush has first-hand knowledge of the impact of the personhood movement on 21st Century life issues.

GRTL is asking for a donation of $5 per family to offset the cost of sponsoring Together for Life 2012.
