2016 Pro-Life Day at the Capitol
GRTL is hosting the Pro-Life Lobby Day at the Capitol on January 26th from 10am-1pm in room 122 of the Capitol.
This is a time when you and your friends can come and learn how to lobby for pro-life legislation. The class will be basic training for those who have never been to the Capitol or know very little about the legislative process. It will even be a great refresher course for the seasoned veteran!
Our training will begin in room 122 CAP at 10AM with a time of classroom teaching from GRTL's seasoned veterans and some of Georgia most influential legislators.
At 11AM we will tour the Capitol, showing you the places you need to go to in order to be an effective citizen lobbyist and how to page a legislator on the floor of their chamber to come out to the hallway and discuss pro-life legislation with you.
At 12 noon, we will provide lunch on the 6th floor of the C.L.O.B. (Coverdell Legislative Office Building). This will give us a time of fellowship while enjoying our lunch. As our lunch concludes we will have a Q&A time to discuss some of what you have seen and heard.
We have designed this training to be time sensitive to your schedule, yet comprehensive enough to make it well worth your time. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have at firstname.lastname@example.org.
