The Mission of Chattahoochee Valley United for Life (CVUL) is to unite the people of the Chattahoochee Valley for the promotion and preservation of human life from conception to natural death through prayer, education, and non-violent civic activities.
Meetings are every 4th Monday of the month @ 7 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital downstairs in the Private Dining Room. Please come and join us! Our next meeting is April 24, 2006!

Oratory Contest Winner!
Danielle Mummert of Northside Christian Church won $100 for winning the CVUL Oratory Contest. She had a wonderful speech and we are proud to send her to the state contest held by GRTL as a representative of our Chapter! Congratulations Danielle!
Pro-life Children’s Book!
Angel in the Water, by Regina Doman, is a beautifully written and illustrated book about the story of life through the eyes of an unborn baby. There are 35+ elementary schools in Muscogee and Harris Counties and CVUL is in the process of donating a copy of this book to each. If anyone can help us with this please let us know!!! $100 Donation to Louisiana Crisis Pregnancy Center.
Thank you to everyone who ordered a King Cake! From the proceeds we are sending almost all of it, $100 to a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Metairie, Louisiana. This center, during Hurricane Katrina, was severely damaged by the wind and water damaging the structure of the building and destroying the roof. Everything in the interior needs to be replaced - floors, walls, lighting, furniture, supplies, computers, etc. They are in the process of rebuilding and desperately need funds.

Each year Georgia Right to Life puts out a Pro-Life Reference Guide that goes out to over 1000 pro-life homes in the state of Georgia. Please consider advertising in the guide. Summer Fairs and Festivals
Summer time is a great time for setting up a table at different fairs and events. It is an opportunity to share our message, educate the community and expand membership. If you know of any church or community fair that CVUL can rent a table, please let us know! Educating people about life, saves lives!
Mother’s Day Cards
CVUL will be giving out Mother’s Day Cards again this year. Each card will have the Precious Feet pin inside as a gift to celebrate and thank each mother who has chose life! Last year we gave out 500 cards, this year we hope to double that. The pin is the exact size and shape of a 10 week old unborn baby; the impact of these tiny feet with 10 tiny toes is overwhelming. The precious feet pin helps to counter the false claims that an unborn baby is simply a wad a tissue. Wear the pin proudly, it is a true testimony to life!
Baby Shower
CVUL is in the process of planning a baby shower for mothers in need. We will be passing out lists of necessary items, diapers, formula, clothes etc. We are still in the planning process but we hope for a wonderful turn out. The date is still TBA. Abortion drops 5.3% in Georgia in 2004!!
In 2004 the abortion stats in Georgia dropped 5.3% from 2003 according to the Georgia Department of Health. In 2003 there were 34,545 abortions, in 2004 there were 32,708. It is the hard work of the residents of Georgia who support the GRTL and their own local chapters that can be congratulated. Without the support of the communities these drops would not be happening. “We will continue to reach out to women in need so that they know abortion is not their only alternative.”-GRTL President Carol Swift.
