The mission of R.E.A.C.H (Raising Educational Awareness & Changing Hearts) Project is to encourage a greater respect for human life and reduce the number of abortions by using mass media education for a long-term cultural change. The target audience is women in crisis pregnancy and Georgians confused about the abortion issue. Our goal is to spread a positive pro-life message in the most efficient, cost effective way possible: through major television advertising.
Launching our first ever media campaign in the summer of 2001, GRTL ETF aired two different outreach ads. Each of these ads carried a toll free number that offered immediate assistance in an unplanned pregnancy. Through this groundbreaking program, we were able to provide assistance to women in crisis 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We continue to receive testimonies from crisis pregnancy centers throughout the metro Atlanta area that have provided hope for individuals in their time of need.
Our ultimate goal is to save innocent lives, and each day our television ads are on the air we are doing just that. The vision for the R.E.A.C.H Project is to ever expand our audience and our air times so that more people can be reached with the truth about the life issues.
We invite you to watch Georgia Right to Life's R.E.A.C.H commercials. We encourage you to show them to your pro-life friends, family, and church. Currently we are airing the following four commercials: Mixed Signals, Classroom, Life Saver and Timeout.
We have been blessed to hear word already this year of an abortion minded woman who saw our ad, called the number, and as a result has chosen to keep her baby. The Pregnancy Resource Centers have already told us their call volumes are going up because of these commercials. The R.E.A.C.H.
